i had an ERMAX undertray fitted last xmas i still get people coming up saying where did you get the SV with twin rear lights

One thing i learned from having the undertray, when its raining prepare to get soaked lol, the water hits the tray and flies straight into your legs or right up into the rear light unit, my advise is to get the missus on the back in the rain and let it all hit her.

Ok, here are some pics of the job. This is what the this undertray looks like fitted. Not bad for the price but a big job! On hindsight, I didn't have to strip so much bodywork off but I got there in the end.

This is the harness I made to retain the toolkit and disk lock by cutting out a piece of the standard undertray and securing it to the frame with cable ties...

Good stuff, can you get one more picture from the rear, slightly to the side and pointing up into the undertray, so I can compare exactly to the old. Andy.

You guys got me a bit confused between a fender eliminator and the undertray.
Do you need both to do a neat job of the rear end, as my K4 seems to have a reasonable undertray already

Correct me if I'm wrong but

A fender eliminator is getting rid of the number plate and indicator holder. This is part of the original 'undertray'.

An undertray replaces the crappy plastic underneath the rear wheel with a snap fit so that the whole back end is 'as one', sorta-speak-get-my-drift-didn't-think-so.

I think what andrewcharnley said was correct.

From what I can figure, it's easy to fit a metal "fender eliminator" to the svk3 whilst retaining the standerd undertray. SVK3/4 owners correct me if i'm wrong.

This is not possible with the older model, the whole undertray needs to be replaced.
