I think the black frame looks a lot nicer in the flesh than in pictures and as said above, with black paintwork, it looks fabulous. Would I buy one? No. Would I buy a new SV1000 (when they're available)? Oh yes.

The black frame does look much better in the flesh...as do the swingarm and wheels ..ordering mine in blue as too much black makes a boring looking bike as far as i am concerned

that`s right, the silver frame coating is 17 grammes lighter. So the newer bikes are slower!
