Yes,but not because I like any of them.Its just that I dont think I would have any right to moan about things afterwards if I hadnt taken part.And I do intend to moan afterwards :P

I will definitely vote. We can get too cynical about the government but I bet that in China people would love to be able to have a free vote. Ditto many other places around the world. If Hitler had had his way we'd have it all decided for us by now. It's too precious a commodity to dismiss.

Yes, its a very small "say" but its all we've got.

Democracy isn't ideal but its better than the alternatives.

Correct. It was just an example to show that the government won't neccesarily massively raise taxes even when most people can't do anything about it.
