Someone did a crackin' job with a 'mouse' sander with a polishing attachment... It looked better than new

Just can't think who did it

This may be a stupid question, but if you use sandpaper on the pipe, wont a protective layer be removed and cause rusting to take place?

Id rather have a stained downpipe than a rusty one!

Or had i better crawl back into my little hole and keep quiet

I'm not sure how a spray would cope with the heat... i believe people have ceramic coated the down pipes though.

It doesn't have a protective layer, it's crap grade stainless all the way through .

1) Green scourer (several) with Autosol
2) Fine grade wet and dry with Autosol
3) Double-looped length of rag with Autosol

(in that order)

Use big dollops of elbow grease and to get it perfect will take several hours.

What you need is a Jonboy-o-matic ®. Exclusively available at the Soho Massive, one night a week only!

The Jonboy-o-matic is an effective and effortless cleaning device that is guaranteed to bring your exhaust pipework to a brilliant and mirror finish shine! No batteries required!

Come and try your Jonboy-o-matic this Friday! Only in Soho!

Quality of polished finish may depend on the number of cups of Nero's coffee provided. No persons or person may be held responsible for the inability to activate the Jonboy-o-matic by a challenge to clean a dirty down-pipe
