I though my insurance was expensive.
24yrs old, 1 years NCB. Fully Comp £425. 2001 sv650s. . I did ring around loads of companies and bounced a couple off each other to get the best deal tho. eventually went with the company who insured my Enduro last year, little back street broker out of MCN.

No idea what they would be like if i had to make a claim.

Almost makes you glad to be in your thirtys when you see prices like that.

Insured the Sv two weeks after passing my test and it was 280 quid fully comp ( garaged with an oxford monster chain and lock ).

Mind you i think its going to go up maybe a little as i have just been done twice for sppeding ( so it might be bye bye licence )....

When I got mine it was a new '02 I was 21 though, straight after DAS and our area is not the lowest risk around. I think it was around 650 (funny eh) TPFT

Oh yeah, Roadsure

I searched around before the bike and got quotes ranging from £320 TPFT (motorcycle direct, which i took) to £1800 TPFT (bennetts) , just had a gander at renewal quotes and chepest i can find is still around £1700 from all the 'Big' companies like bennetts, ebike, carole nash etc. etc. but this time for Comp. ( TPFT still circa £1100)

I am 20
1999 Sv650 (33Bhp)
Garaged at home address
2 years no claims
1 years full liscence
1 previous non-fault (i got reversed over by white man van at a junction)
Living in a relatively low risk area
Class 1 business use
pillions
No Mods*

Guess i'll be staying with motorcycle direct and ask them how much to upgrade to Fully comp

*apart from the screen, the bellypan, the hacked undertray, the new indies, the blueflame highlevel, screen, renthal bars, levers, heated grips....Ok theres a few , but i won't declare most of them apart from can and bellypan, possibly bars.
