Agreed. I have no particular prejudice towards them/their bikes (I was even looking at a dragstar 650 instead of an SV). However, whilst they seem fairly chatty and friendly once stopped/at meets, on the road they cold shoulder you more than large groups of 1000cc sportsbike riders in race rep one pieces The nearest I've had to a wave from any Harley rider, other than a guy on an Electraglide (which I don't count as a proper Harley- it's more an inferior Goldwing ), was a very slow and deliberate nod from a bloke to show he was giving way to me, when I was on my DAS.

If you're inside the M25 I tend not to nod for fear of my neck wearing out, though I often have quick chats with peole at traffic lights.

Outside I nod when I can but not at scooters, or kamakazi "L" platers.
And exactly why do you not nod at Harley riders? Am I not good enough for you?

I will nod to anyone with two wheels and an engine, mind you if I am in London sometimes I can't because I am concentrating on not getting killed by the psycho white van man, or the "Sorry mate did not see you!" cage drivers.

Cheers

Nod and nod again

Spotted one of those fancy gyroscope things in London once (from the bus!), and must admit, I'd probably wave at 'em. Had nods from Harleys and Goldwings etc. One made me just about **** myself by waving like the Queen with his nose in the air. Come on - that's gotta be worth starting 'em off for?

Best one yet was a sychronised double nod from two cop bikers on a cold, dull day on the M77 whilst heading home from Kilmarnock. Well done lads.

Cheers,
Garry

I nod at any two wheeled motorized bike scooter thing. I will even nod at chavs in their shorts and trainers. I think its important to thank them for their willingness to be guinea pigs for new skingraph technology

oh and Chavs I think should be renamed Peelers as thats what generally happens to them when they come of their bikes in puffer jackets and shorts with no gloves.

I dont nod at anybody not wearing proper protective gear, irrespective of what they are riding

Everybody else gets a nod and sometimes a cheery wave
