I must admit in the seven years I have been riding I have never had a disc stolen.

Although I do feel the whole tisc disc think is pointless if the DVLA's super computer knows which vehicles are taxed and which aren't.

get one of these. costs about £15. your disc is secure unless they want to undo bolts (which are tight) to get at your tax.

Errrr.....no! They've just snapped the holder off of my bike! Grrrrrr.!

As Kilted Ginger said, copying it is a bad idea legally. As is not displaying it at all.

Lets face it, if they want your tax they want your tax, but you can get special security bolts for example http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MOTRAX-STAINLE...QQcmdZViewItem and them flash tax disc holders that require you to unscrew 8 or so little bolts to get the tax out, for example http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-RED-CARBON...QQcmdZViewItem … basically it’d be so much grief for the scum to nick it, they’ll just go to the next bike!!!

Ok, they can still try and snap it off (like scoobs’s), but that takes a bit of time … again you are just hoping they will move on to easier prey!!
