SV's - The Dogs or What? - Page 3 - SV650.org

Guy at work has a Triumph Thunderbird 900, Kwak ZR650 or something, old piece of crap, and a GPZ900, and is always asking for a go on the sv lol.

I had a pointy SV before i got my current bike & i would say don't knock it till you've tried it, apart from the fact that like a number of other bikes (mine included) corners are cut & it's built down to a budget, i loved my time with the SV, the low down grunt & that sound.
Like everything else in this world, you get what you pay for but all in all i think the SV is a good competent package & if i could have afforded to i would have kept mine as well.
As for being a girls bike, does it have a step through frame, nope, it's what YOU want it to be & stuff what anyone else thinks.
