Cool! Does your Mum make good tea and scones? Has she got a big front garden?

Would she take pity on my aching wrists?

Did this run yesterday.

Started 2.20 from kinross arrived back 7.30

Good bits: (out leg)
Glenfarg twisties - slight downhill but just awesome
Stanley-Murthly - smooth
Caputh-Dunkeld - super twisties
Birnam to aberfeldy (a class some gravel and rogh stuff)
Aberfeldy uphill stretch towards tummel bridge - nice smooth and twisty

Not so good bits: (out leg)
The downhill into Aberfeldy - steep descent and a bit gravelly, farmers mud in places
Aberfeldy downhill to tummel bridge - not so nice. some very steep 18% gradients and hairpins. Gravel

In leg:
Tummel bridge to pitlochry - very good up to the queens view. Loads of f***wits clipping corners thereafter.
Pitlochry to bridge of cally. smoth uphill over moors and some descents.
Bridge of cally to Blairgowrie - Braw!
fast forward to Glenfarg - same twisties but more uphill pleasure - yummy!

Seriously aching wrists at the end but a good long run.

Right we need details of who's going and where we are going?

Date 13 august.

Route - Ayrshire Coast, borders or up round the ww and duke pass etc.

Though been told that the dukes pass to aberfoyle is not so good as going from aberfoyle.

So votes please otherwise this will keep going until the day before and then we'll be up the creek.

Also vote that all the route should be witten down and left with someone so that when we turn up on the morning we can decide where the good weather is and get a route in that direction save a lot of time.- Yes it means duplication some times but we can get more rideouts in a year

Count me in, I'll bring up the rear again Q. doesn't matter route etc for me I'll go anywhere, I'm quite happy to print off routes etc if you send them to me, couple of mobile numbers on the day might be an idea as well in case we get split up.

Think I can make it too... But I've got no real preference regarding routes.

Count me in!

I do have a preference (thus far) for inland roads but willing to coast it.
