One of the best tips I got from here was to rotate your clutch & brake levers down slightly. I was getting terrible pains in my wrists when I first got the SV but this has helped me get more comfortable.

Also set the clutch biting point to suit you, suzuki seem to set it as far from the handlebars as possible which I dont like at all.

Above all dont worry too much about anything...... just enjoy.

So how do I go about adjusting the clutch lever and biting point then?

And why in the wide world of sports isn't there a span adjuster on the clutch like the one on the brake?

Undo the bolts on the handlebar clamp for the clutch lever. Then you'll be able to rotate the clutch lever assembly up or down so that it suits your riding position.

I've got mine set so that you could draw a straight line from my elbow, through my wrist to the end of my finger tips when I've got hold of the lever.

Not sure on the bite point but if you have the owners manual for your bike it should tell you in there.

Well said! Nothing worse that panicking halfway through a bend, thinking you won't make it.
