I've had singles, twins and IL4 and really not too bothed about the engine layout. If it looks alright to ME , I'll ride it.
Infact I'll ride anything as in time you get to love it but I'm easy like that ![]() ![]() Cheers Ben |

1) what looks good 2) whether i can lower it/ get a tiptoe down 3) as long as general reviews are ok, I go on the first 2 at the mo i'm in love with the green z1000 but also thinking about a zxr 636 - 2005 model so looking like an il4 then- but cos those bike are so apart, i'll stick with the sv till I swing one way convincingly |

AFter having a 600 bandit for the last 10 years & having a vtwin for the last 3 months the thing that I dont miss is the high revving of the fours. the sv seems a much more relaxing bike to ride & doesnt sound like Im thrashing it everywhere
In fact when i first got it & took it on the motorway I kept leaving it in fourth gear doing 80-90 as I thought I was in top ![]() So my choice would be twins.............wonder what a single sounds like. |

have had my sv 5 years and still love it. it does everything i need it to do. it goes fast enough for me
but i have moved on got 1000 raptor and its the sv and more. love it. its more sit up as its a naked bike and i love it - probably coz im getting on a bit. i can also reach the ground with both feet which is a first for me on any bike. except 400s v twins just sound sexy |

I've gone from the SV (V twin) to CBR600RR (IL4). Next bike will probably be a litre twin.
