Hmmm, very tempting. Having not been before, can anyone shed any light on the kind of price savings on offer?

Is it worth me making the trip to Brum, or just wait until next year when the Anglesey bike bash is on again?

If I am going, it'll be 28-29th since someone said it's on 28th-5th.

when we went last year we spent a small fortune! beowulf grills for bandit and sv, scorpion can, suzuki fleece, 11 T shirts, 4 bennetts superbikes mugs. 2 oxford dust covers

this year i need a leather jacket pref RST to match my trousers and cousin gaz needs a scorp can, bellypan and s/steel cooler grills again.

to carry stuff

And cos my old Dad is based in Coventry a few miles away. Not sure on the date I'll be going yet.

Will probably use the bike though, It's my preferred transport.

We won't be going either. Don't need anything, and not looking for another bike, so no point. We'd rather spend the £30 on petrol and do a few miles instead.

I'm not saying the show is no good.............although it does seem to have been getting worse over the years with more tat and less really good bargains...........but just no point for us personally to go.

I'll be there Saturday with the car just incase I need new kit! ( well if there are any decent lids, textiles, exhausts, tyres) going cheap..... ish The why ever not. Happy to take anyone up if needed just PM me

I went up a couple of years ago and enjoyed keeping the Speed Triple to myself for a bit!

But last year was, and this will be hit with the ol' mobility issues for me. Getting up there is fine, but trying to get round everything - not on crutches - not that far.

What annoys me is I can go to Tescos and borrow a little electric wheelie thing with a basket on the front to make it round for my shopping (it's great when you can get the tyres squealing round corners

). At the NEC - nothing similar is provided.

So I can get up there OK, but unless they are going to let me ride my bike round the show... ahhh no.

I hope missing a couple of years will make it a more enjoyable experience when I can get back there.
