Not signed. Nothing to do with The Hamster, whom I hope makes a full recovery; it's just not as good as it used to be.

I like Clarkson's inane ramblings and outrageous similies, but the truth as I see it is that the quality of the presenters is covering up for a lack of deeper substance. IMHO, of course. I no longer watch it every week; I'll watch it if there's nothing else on.

It should be axed and replaced with a motorbike show, which at the moment would be something unique on mainstream UK TV.

Petition not signed.

Quite. Whilst I wish the guy a full and speedy recovery, the whole event here has been total overkill. A BBC TV presenter is not quite Scott of the Antartic!
Sorry to sound a bit heartless, but its all been a bit pathetic really. And thats no fault of Richard Hammonds. Get Well soon.
I love Top Gear and never miss it but I agree with what you say about the great explorer. Make a petition about him and see if you get 70,000 signatures.

You really think that the PC brigade will have the show axed and replaced with a motorbike show? If you let them win, it'll quite likely be banning any kind of motorsport from the TV etc.

It's like TB wasting millions of tax payer's money on having fox hunting banned: I don't agree with fox hunting at all and think that it is cruel and barbaric BUT the PC brigade are just eroding more and more away from our freedom of choice.

Top Gear wont get scrapped as its one of the worlds most watched TV programs. The BBC will make a small fortune selling it to other networks.

I am a big fan of the show but heres a word of warning. If you ever get tickets to go see the show recorded it does not mean that you are 100% of getting in. I went down about 3 years ago and was told we could not go in the studio was full! I was allmightly pieed off as I had been at work all night and had to travel about 240 miles each way!
