Anyone ever eaten at Ramsey's? Pure Genious! I'm not rich but I like food and a once or twice a year trip to clariges is well worth it, prices are OK, it's the wine that kills!
This level of skill requires such precision and remember chefs don't just sit in the basement anymore, more often than not their on show.

Watching Ramseys kitchen nightmares, you'll see him bolloking the people who need it, who are not doing the jobs their paid to. Watch him with the young ones who need training, watch him motovate and train the ones who need it and you can see a real people manager in action. I think Ramseys great as is Oliver.

I've meet the said Mr Oliver, and he is truly passionate about food, good cooking and he's a nice bloke with it. Nothing is false, far from it, he does a lot of this stuf at his expense. OK, maybe he may get some publicity out of it, but he's genuite IMO.

As an aside, his best's mate's brother was suffering from a very serious ilness, and he paid everything for him to go to the US and have some very expensive treatment. I know this as this "best mate's" sister is living with my nephew (which is how I met him...)

He's a parent and, like me, concerned about the crap that they serve up in schools these days just in oder to save 20p a meal.

Sure - he's exploited his celebrity status but that's made far more people aware of the problem and actually got the government to get off it's fat behind and do something (not enough, but it's a start).

I applaud the guy and hope he succeeds in his efforts. He could have made more money with less effort in other ways.

Cheers

Keith
