I'd like a 10KW strobe light activated by a thumb switch to declare my intention to passby a junction and that the dreamer waiting should look at me and let me pass without pulling out. Or one of those knightrider pulsing light things that goes from side to side across the fairing to prevent sudden blindness by said dreamer caused by this mythical 'looming' effect which renders bikers invisible. How about a projectable holograph 50ft ahead of bike depicting a serious accident to stop them pulling out.
I'm not paranoid they really are out to get me...and you

What I REALLY want though, is a speed activated stepper motor that raises and lowers my handlebars....with manual overide of course...

Thats got me thinking....
What about a hologram projection of a car....or even better a 2 tone truck
That would deffinately stop them pulling out on you

My DAS instructor had a motorised flyscreen on the front of his bike, flyscreen moves with speed of the bike... surely this could be adapted.

I've got carbs, so no But yep, that's pretty much how you'd do it with most FI. With carbs, you'd need to replace the cable-and-cam operation with something a bit more clever.
A spring in the cable.

the auto adjust bars with speed sounds like a great idea to me, i am sure that is could be done with hydraulic forks, bit on the expensive side but cool, using the same technology from the tardis would be good so there is unlimited space under the seat, would make things a tad easier!!!

Fairing that changes shape, sliding bits about like a giant transformer (the robots ).

I envisage it being able to slide back to just being a pair of radiator cowls. Or at the other extreme, expand out to a Pan-like fairing. Essentially, being able to switch between naked and fully faired (and everything in between)

Serves no purpose (aside from being safer in crosswinds) but would look incredible. It would need to be accompanyed by a "dvvvvv rrrrrr dvvv rrr" type noise as the change occured. Coupled with the easily repositional bars someone else mentioned this could really make for a "do everything" bike.

I suppose collapsible (yet incredibly robust) hard luggage would be a development of this technology too. Imagine; a top box that appeared for you to lock your lid and gloves in when you parked up, but that once the engine started, would slide back into the fairing.
