I forgot about the John Bull, that's a top pub too. There's a couple of other good ones up near Standishgate & Mab's Cross as well.

Hmm, I sense the opportunity for a Pennine Massive / Wigan pub crawl!

I'll get my thinking cap on & see what I can come up with - I'll start a new thread once I've got some sort of plan...

Well, I'm extremely proud of me Wigan heritage, much to the amusement of my co-workers
