Glad he's getting better, it's good to see that the best safety equipment really works.
Agree entirely.. What a dull world it would be without people like the Hamster. I'd like to have a go in a jet powered car...
If you crash it, post a vid please

Whether its his ego, or his passion, what does it matter, he wanted to do it, he did it, and thankfully hes ok. I like Richard Hammond, not because he is celebrity (there are plenty I cant stand) but because he is passionate about his hobbies.

As it goes my parents think I am incredibly selfish riding a motorbike, my mum thinks that because I have children I should understand that they need me, and I am playing with danger. I think I am enjoying life how I chose, and that is what makes me who I am, and the mum they love. who is right? who makes the rules we live by? I make mine, Richard Hammond makes his, you make yours, so enjoy it.... I think Hammond did (until it went wrong, obviously!) And I dont think we have a right to slag him off for it, I take my hat of too him....helmet actually!

Fair enough, that is your considered opinion. However, I think we all have the right to
air our views about particular subjects and or people (within reason ) If we feel like it.
