Well, that was a pretty good turnout I thought, there were even a couple of SVs there too!

Kinvig and SoulKiss, find your way back from Purley ok?

Oh yes. Got back to Castle Kinvig just after midnight.

Good night out. Please excuse my slow driving style last night on the country roads - it got dark & wet & with no local knowledge I wasn't going to push it! Your bike fairly shifts some! Nice!!!!

Surprised that there were only 2 SV's at a meet up for the forum!!

Well I got home fine - and I pointed Kinvig in the right direction at Brixton so.....

Thanks for the company on the way back Kate - was interesting, I used to drive a lot round the latter part of the journey - used to work in Whyteleafe (A22) but live in Shirley and then Wallington, so recognised a lot of it, but in that kind of wierd "been a while" kind of way

Admittedly its a little dent, but its still a dent in the tank before I even left the dealers! Anyway, the 3rd tank will be fitted next week hopefully.

No worries Kinvig, that route can be 'interesting', and it was also pretty windy wasn't it? Its pretty good in the dry though Surprisingly enough, I enjoyed the ride last night! I'll have to get out in the dark when its cold and wet more often.

SoulKiss, I had that feeling on the way to Selkent! :P Cheers for the company on the way back, thats the first time I've led too! Usually I lurk at the back.

Surprised that ANY sv's turned up!!

Most of the SELKent lot dont have them anymore, the ones that do are sensible and drive there...as it has a habbit of lashing it down most weeks. More bikes in the summer, and some of the largest rideouts

Was great to see more of us there this week, it's been lacking numbers of late!

...although the quality is always just as good .

Glad you guys all got home safe. I really had a fun ride down there...mostly cos i actually knew where i was going!

Viney....XMAS BASH!!!!!! I don't know if you guys are open to suggestions but there's a fantastic chinese restaurant on Biggin Hill main road (really easy to get to) called The Phoenix On The Hill which is about £15 a head...wait for it...ALL YOU CAN EAT!!!! And it's not buffet crap either, you order whatever you want from the menu and it's pretty class (over 40 starters, duck and crispy lamb for second course all usual main courses and lots of stuff you probably haven't tried). I've been there for my birthday 3 years running plus used to go there all the time when i lived in Biggin Hill.

It's just a suggestion. Not that i think Harvester food is particularly foul or anything (i even got the barman to admit the food was sub donkey level last night) but when you think how much you pay for a meal there it easily comes to the same amount.

......I don't even mind organising it...lord help me!!!!!!
