Agree with the above, once the door is sealed properly with a varnish, wax, paint, or some other wood treatment it won't be as bad. Best of luck.

 Thanks everyone for your advice, I'll have a chat with the landlady (since I dont want to do anything she dosnt agree on, although im sure this is something she'll agree is needed to be sorted). I think she'll probably just shave off some material from it though - although she;s not tight, she does like to save money where possible! Matt |
