Count me in, as long as I'm not working and weather not too bad. Must remember to get the bike MOT'd first though - it needed its first one in December - but as I've not been out cos of the weather I thought what's the point of spending the money just to have it sit there ?????

Suggestion for the ride out - The roads between Darlington/Northallerton/Thirsk are good and as they're fairly main roads dry out quite quickly - so is the A68 North from Darlo - there is also the wear view diner just outside Bishop Auckland.

The A68 is an absolutely cracking biking road between Darlington and Hexham. Apart from Bishop I'm not sure of any local cafe's though. There's loads of pubs though and I assume there's some cafe's near Hamsterley Forest.

It looks like most people are free on the weekend of the 21st. Squires is a bit far for me really. It's not easy to find a place that everyone can make it too by the look of things. I'm probably one of the most Northern going though as I'm in Carlisle.

Will Aycliffe to Ripon not involve the A1 though? Boring riding on the A1. Hartside is too far for the west yorkshire lot though.

C'Mon Teeside Rob :P It looks like this could be a good run out.

I used to live in Darlo but only ride the A68 over there now. Speed camera free and a great road in summer.
