it can be done with lots of elbow grease.

i got a new bellypan from powerbronze for the 650 i just sold and the instructions were to put the front plate on the inside? it was a tight fit but it did go. i'll try and post a picture on for ya.

honestly it doesnt take long, just polish the pipe everytime you look at the bike and it soon comes good.

OK, After some serious downpipe envy (mostly yours Kwak)......3 hours later a tube of autosol, some glass sandpaper, alot of steel wool and 10 bleeding knuckles.

Its not quite there yet but what an improvement!!!!!

well done that man!! see what can be done with time and effort
now it will be easy to keep ontop of it.
