Actually big guy, I didn't mis-read. I understood that "been" was intended.

My point still stands, the fact he didn't throw it on the floor () counts for a lot in terms of confidence building.

It's not a good idea to go out on the bike when your minds not 100% on riding. I binned my last SV that way and was lucky not to have injured myself badly. Good job the leathers did the trick that day really.
