I haven't downloaded the .asf, but I can do if ffdshow doesn't solve the problem for you. I also haven't tried Media Player yet. I will do if you're still having problems after ffdshow is installed. |

 Give that man an eyebrow!!! ... give him too!! ... nice one Baph!!  That is the .AVI sorted (well it works at work now  I assume it is the same problem at home … fingers crossed) I am a happy boy now.  The .asf still doesn't want to play ... so have a crack at that one too if you like  What is a little irritating (for me) is that I came up against ffdshow stuff when I was trying to install codec packs, but as I didn't know what they were and no errors pointed to them, so I kinda dismissed them!!   Anyhoo, nice one Baph, you are a star!!! Sometimes a fresh set of eyes really helps!!! |
