Ah, can't read. Whichever you prefer I don't like huggers, meself. But, if you do the seat cowl think about removing the pegs also, it looks a bit daft otherwise IMO.

Hi there, i do agree with this guy.

The SV front is really too soft...
Spend money on the fork springs and thicker oil (some tuning needed for oil level) and buy good brake pads (I've got EBC Metal and love them )
I've made some mods, just have a look on my webpage (see profile)

Sorry for the strong accent

Just don't like the look... Makes the rear look heavy to me. But that's personal.

SV springs are only too soft if you're too heavy for them We have a few people on here who're actually the right weight. Steering damper shouldn't be needed if you have half-decent suspension, with our geometry they're only good for covering up shortcomings- I'd sooner fix a problem than spend money hiding it. I did! Exhaust and induction give you only a few horses for a very big outlay, unless you're doing other tuning it's just not a good return.

the first things ive done on my new SV is;

Disk Lock
Tail Tidy
Tank Protector
R&G Crash Bungs
Fender Extenda(Still waiting for the correct one to arrive!)

Then all i want once i have some cash is a rear hugger, and also a new can...

Wont be for a little while yet though!

Just the pig eh?

You can get hangers to replace it, or you could use a bit of bent aluminium or somesuch, but there's nothing that wrong with leaving them on... I got carried away
