New rider.....advice please

The fairings are all ok just a bit of careful filling required.
I was thinking about getting a colour matched aerosol to spray the panels myself.
With the Suzuki system do I need a base, colour and laquer?

The code is Y7M 19F00 Y7M under the tank Suzuki red

And most importantly is it expensive? .... might just end up doing the scratched areas rather than the whole bike

Um...Don't tell insurance about anything they can't see... . I know in the states it is completely different, but I'm pretty sure they aren't going to disassemble your carbs to make sure you aren't lying to them. The only thing you really have to claim is the can, and not even a full system if you choose.

I would double check that since I am from across the pond and pretty much feel like as far as insurance goes.

Insurance will take any excuse they can to weasel out of a claim!!

You are right, they would have to check first though, but that isn’t the point. I am sure many people have a can or cosmetic enhancements they haven’t owned up to, but again, that isn’t the point!!! You either have to choose to lie about such things and run the risk of getting caught out, or choose to be 100% straight down the line about it!! Simple as?!
