Do them petitions actually achieve anything? Seems there's as many pointless petitions floating about as there are pointless politicians at the minute.

Well I guess that that means we do have some sort of freedom of speach. Some countries you may be thrown in jail for saying things like that.

How about we ban cars? They're uneconomical, statistically the main cause of accidents on our roads, the sort of vehicle most frequently involved in road rage, they cause congestion, and are in most cases, only 'neccessary' because their occupants lack the confidence in their motoring abilities to go by bike and rely upon the protection of a steel box to compensate for this.

Edit: Ridden at speeds of up to 70mph? He clearly doesn't know much about bikes at all!
