Its her birthday, but im not wasting what little money i've got on random junk.

Get Married! thats what i shall be doing on my birthday and i guess from now on i will get an anniversary or birthday card depending on which one he remembers - this year i prob won't get anything.

Soooo can you cook? Cook for her if so and get her a little something, a card and some flowers.

With the good ladies, "the thoughts" do indeed count. It's not about spending money you can ill afford as you say yourself.

take a day off together and take her shopping

not original i grant you, but i'm yet to meet a girly girl who doesnt like shopping.

bit of lunch, bit of shopping, dinner in t' evening. jobs a good un.
