That was The Noisettes. I don't remember what the song's called, but it's on their "What's the Time, Mr. Wolf?" album. They've been called a British Yeah Yeah Yeahs, which isn't a bad description.

Agree with you on The Wire too. I've been watching it on FX, very good indeed!

Northwind - do yourself a big favour - get on ebay and bid - about £15 tops will suffice for an entire series - id recommend series 1 to start with , then theres 2 & 3 , 4 has been broadcast in the US, not here yet, no dvd yet...

bringing up an old thread, but just started watching this, got boxset for xmas, already seen season 6 on the telly but just working my way through the first ones, it is the best TV show i have watched in years if not ever, love it!!
