Re: Vintage film cameras
I used Asda last time for 35mm prints, looked okay, they don't do any corrections. Will send these to Peak Imaging.
I keep seeing Comets, I thought you had one already? |

Re: Vintage film cameras
I have a Koroll S, the Comet is its little brother. I use Asda as its cost effective for the amount of 35mm I shoot.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Just bought a Fujica GE-R rangefinder with some birthday money. Got a spare Ensign Ful Vue 120 if you fancy it Johnny?

Re: Vintage film cameras
Thanks but I'll pass. Contessamat in bits:
https://www.flickr.com/photos/133726.../shares/JJT0Y0 believe me it's not an easy one. The shutter blades are snapping open and shut okay but the timing gear seems slow, am trying to decide if I can improve things any or should just live with it and put it back together. Aperture seems fine but will have to make sure some other part of the gubbins isn't what's sticking instead. |

Re: Vintage film cameras
Nice. My brother lives round the corner. Don't have the dosh to splurge. Even though there is a Voigtlander VF 135 on eBay.

Re: Vintage film cameras
You could sell any of these and break even on the rest.
Got the Contessamat almost in one piece. Figured out (sort of) the fiendish exposure meter linkage and set the rangefinder. Need to put the front lens element back in and set the focus right then could put some film in it. The glass is clear enough to make a grown man cry. Well, one anyway. |

Re: Vintage film cameras
Car tax, a failed mot with cost of parts hit me pretty hard last month. Did buy a Fujica GE-R though. Will likely be the only one this month. Do want a Voigtlander VF135 at some point.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I had a play around with the Six-20 Special today. The shutter wouldn't fire. Managed to get it apart but sadly broke the bulb/instant selector. It doesn't have a thread for shutter release so I'm not that fussed. The mechanism had come adrift and just needed sliding back in position. Probably given away because of this.
Not much to the shutter mech. The hole is where the lever attached to
