Ok chaps - looking for a nice bottle, round about the £30 mark (give or take a few quid either way), from here:
http://www.drambusters.com/ A few that I normally enjoy are Arran, Bowmore and Ardmore but I'm open to suggestions. A couple that caught my eye (because of the age, as much as anything tbh) were Balbair 17 y/o and Benrinnes 14 y/o Any inspiration welcome - what would you go for? Personally I'd go for the 16 aberlour or the Balvenie Carabian cast (in their special offer section), Balvenie double is a safe bet though for me, but I'm not a great fan of the island whiskies (Dura the exception).
Cheers Mark.

I keep a couple of bottle in the bottom cupboard for those that drink "whiskey" Bells & Teachers, strictly not of Irish decent, but they don't seem to know the difference.....

Got a bottle of this (http://www.masterofmalt.com/whiskies...rength-whisky/) for my whisky club meet in Huntly. Guid run on the bike there and back too. Decisions, decisions. To go the boring coast road or A9? Hmmm.....
