I am going to back track a little here on the Hopkins issue. Hey he was fired up etc. You know who we should be blaming here? The TV camera director, after all it was he who could have chosen to keep John's outburst off screen had he wished to.

Wot u reckon?

That would be like asking the editor of The Sun not to print pictures of Tony Blair taking advantage of a sheep... (and that event would probably be less taxing for Tone than a night of pash with Cherie)

Drew...I guess your right, a little more interesting than the endless cut away shots of pit crews scrutinising over head monitors! (Curiously nearly always done just as a take over manouvre was to take place! )

Went down to a very soggy Donny today for the crashfest !! Never seen so many high sides. Luckily my mate knew someone in one of the hospitality boxes and got me in there.

Man of the day was a boy - 14 year old lad in the 125gp race. First season, never raced in the wet and never seen Donny before Friday, but ran a superb race to come out winner, beating someone who was old enough to be his dad into second place.

Gotta say you have to respect those guys going b*lls out in conditions like that. Over the course of the day it rained, sleeted and hailed. In all the excitement I lost a glove and had to ride home with a bare right hand. Had to keep stopping and sticking my hand in my lid to warm my hand with my breath.

Peter's Magic Crystal Ball predicts......

Mr.Rossi will NOT make the decision to join F1 by the indicated June 2006 deadline. The chancesa of him reaching and perhaps beating Agostini's record of wins is more achievable than him becoming a winner in F1

So how will things shake up for 2007 Moto GP?

Yamaha:Rossi and Hayden(But do NOT rule out the dream ticket of Rossi goes to Ducati)

(Why Rossi to Ducati? Marlboro is the key there)

Repsol Honda: Pedrosa and Melandri.

Ducati:Capirossi and Gibernau for one last season unless Rossi joins, then Sete walks.

Fortuna Honda: Elias and Lorenzo.

Roberts Honda. kenny Fat Boy and Hopkins.

Suzuki: Edwards and Vermeulen

Kawasaki.No change.

Remember where you read it first! :P

Well, my Tarot Cards foretell a slightly different story !!

(a) Nope - Yamaha have more sense than to hire a 'one-hit-wonder'

(b) Seems a reasonable prediction

(c) Not sure about this one - have a feeling Ducati might keep one or other & bring in a 'young gun' - looking to the future.

(d) Elias & Dovizioso

(e) Fat Boy & A N Other old rider who's got sponsorship

(f) Vermeulen & Shaky Byrne (unless Denning can find a HUGE pile of cash to persuade Vale & Jerry Burgess to come and play with the new 800cc bike) *

(g) Probable

* Just one thing here - all the biking press were asking the question a couple of years ago "Why does Suzuki keep on with the GSXR 750 when the other manufacturers just have the 600cc & the 1000cc ? Well, to my way of thinking - 750cc isn't a million miles away from the new 800cc limit is it ?

Nah. Shakey wouldn't go back to MotoGP to race on an uncompetative bike.

Suzuki keeps on with the 750 'cos it makes them a fat wad of cash. No other reason!
