Today's lesson (which I should definitely know by now) is to always take my bank card with me on the bike because 24hr petrol stations don't accept contactless.
 Braemar was closed with only a card machine available. So I put the bike in touring mode and pootled up to Ballater to find the exact same card machine and a sign saying closed for lunch
