I left the baffle in mine as it was still louder than my old illegal can

The remus that was fitted was on it when i bought it looks like its been on a while though and it didn't have a removable baffle, figured it was time to change it when it started leaking a little

Well i started the bike today so the wife could hear how loud it was she said it was too loud and that i should fit the baffle, 30 secs later after i fitted the baffle i started it back up and she came outside to say i thought you were fitting the baffle it really doesn't make much difference at all.

Can anyone give me a list of things required to bleed my brakes after fitting new hoses. Before i get a bleed kit i'd thought i'd try and get bits from work for free instead. I've already got a big syringe for filling from the caliper as i've heard this helps reduce air in the system

I bookmarked this for me later on down the road: http://www.bluepoof.com/motorcycles/...eeding_brakes/

- A couple of towels to cover the painted sections of your bike
- 8mm socket for the bleed nipple
- 1/4" inner diameter clear vinyl tubing (you may have to stretch the very end out with the tip of a #2 philips screwdriver)
- Bottle for the used brake fluid
- Philips screwdriver for the master cylinder bracket
- New DOT 4 brake fluid [NOTE: your bike might take something different! Check your service manual!]

Plastic tube and an old container, bleed from the master cylinder first then the calipers and repeat, when there are no bubbles in the tube leave the break leaver zip tied as tight to the bar as possible over night... Job done
