Re: Vintage film cameras
Well the aperture on my car boot find Trip 35 jammed up again, this coupled with the broken frame counter and the fungus in the other Trip 35 now means that it has given up it fungus free lens for the other. Just need to colimate and test.
Tonights patient You have to hold the shutter open with the screwdriver while holding the shutter release down to open the aperture, then use the other hand to hold a magnifier while adjusting the focus. OM20 split screen helped. That's the top plate hanging on the left.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Rather you than me on that one.
The ED is pretty much an upmarket trip with a better lens and rangefinder rather than zone focus. Pocketable but heavy. I took it with me today and fired off a few shots. The ECR looks to be a very similar machine. Off work for the next few days so will try to use up some film. |

Re: Vintage film cameras
Just ordered a roll of CT Precisa slide film. No idea what to chuck it in though. It wasn't too bad a job, really helpful guide on studio 120 I think it was.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I just read the guide. It sounds easy but I'm sure it's much more difficult in practice.
I hope you've got it focussing and working fine now. BTW, it's half price sale time again at Rocky. Last edited by yokohama; 21-03-17 at 09:46 PM. |

Re: Vintage film cameras
Placed an order for a Kodak Duo 620. Been after one for a while. Think I saw a Mamiya Six on there. http://www.rockycameras.com/------19...99-75735-p.asp

Re: Vintage film cameras
Anyone want any flash units? My box of goodies arrived and I have a Sunpak GX33 and a no brand double headed flash; one is tiltable and the other is fixed to the base so you don't have to keep tilting the head. I also got a beautiful Zeiss Ikophot Rapid light meter. Seems to work ok.

Re: Vintage film cameras
That was a nice little bundle you got. I picked up an old light meter along with other stuff too but it was kaput unfortunately. I'm ok for flash units. Probably something I should experiment with at some point but I never seem to use them.
