There are some lower back exercises I think I posted a link to somewhere in the running thread. Worked for me very well when I had back problems.

I was hoping to get out for a run at some point today but I spent my time waiting in for a DPD delivery that never came. I shall try and get out tomorrow instead.

Managed to get out after work. Not the fastest 5.5 miles. But it was nice to get out. Shame my backs not loving me now.

At least you got out there which is more than I've managed since Tuesday.

Been a hell of a week!

Gary, I hope it gets better soon.
I was quite depressed when Strava took great pleasure in telling me it was only my second run this month. Head hung in shame...
I've only got next week as I'll be off to Kefalonia for 2 weeks. Doubt they'll be much running then.
When I get back there's only a couple of days till the mud fest.

Take your running kit with you Martin, you never know when you'll get the opportunity for a run, and it can be really interesting running somewhere unfamiliar.

Yay! Made it out for a run. Some friends of ours who used to live in the village are up to stay in the area for a few days and one of them, Paul, is a runner too. We went out this morning for a run along my Allt, afon, a goedwig route. He's quite a bit faster than me normally but although he slowed down a bit it still made me keep up a good pace.

Good run and I'm now sitting here having eaten a bowl of porridge and drinking tea, feeling pleasantly knackered!

Finally made it out for a run.

Headed over to Erddig for parkrun, first one since probably May. Lovely route, mostly trail with a fair chunk of it woodland. Quite a slow course as there are some narrow congestion points on it and it's not possible to overtake people on quite a long stretch at the start. You need to be at the front to get a good time, but I'm not quick enough to be mixing it with the front runners, many of whom are doing sub 19 minute runs!

Erddig parkrun.

Struggling to fit runs in at the moment, but made it out for a short run this morning. My first run since last Saturday's parkrun. Absolutely glorious morning too.

Early morning run this morning. There's a section through the forest which is now bloody hard going as there is felling taking place. They've been using a caterpillar tracked vehicle and the whole track is now a series of corrugations making it very uncomfortable to run across.

Still, it was good to get out there on this lovely morning.
Dolanog and forest run.
