The chap in the red robes is the mayor and in three weeks he gets weighed in public at the end of his year in office. If he's put on weight we get to boo him for getting fat off the people, if not he gets a cheer. Definitely nuts in this town.

I actually (shock horror) got out on the bike today. The road from Milton Keynes to Buckingham was closed due to an accident so headed a bit further north on the A5 and stopped off at the Super Sausage Cafe. Lots of nice unusual bikes there, including a Benelli Tornado

Eventually made it to Buckingham on my extended way home only to be stopped in the centre by a rumbling noise, that turned into about 1,000 or so Harleys, chops, trikes and rats all being marshalled into a carpark. We were held up for a few minutes, much to the annoyance of the cage driver ahead of me. When we were let off again he only drifted along at half the speed limit anyway so quite why he was grumbling was beyond me... Wonder what the event was? None of the bikes were shiny-shiny, most of the riders had cut-offs with plenty of rally badges and most were trying to look bad ass with their shades and open face lids. Hope they enjoyed themselves anywho.

I ride a Jota 1000 once. Great bike, load of torque. Thirsty though. They had a unique design for the handlebars, all the bends were jointed so very adjustable. I love the tornado too.

Some lovely weather down south by the looks of these brilliant pictures. I was at Oulton Park on the 1st stint of my freebie race weekend from MCE Insurance. Tomorrow I have full VIP Hospitality & a drive around the circuit in the course car

Today's weather was absolutely terrible. I took over 100 pictures & ended up with about 25 useable ones. Never mind, there's always tomorrow

WHAT A DAY! Absolutely fantastic day at Oulton Park. I was standing with the Paps taking pictures of the winning podium, chatting to team owners & rubbing shoulders with my heroes. A once in a lifetime event that will never be forgotten.
