Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Hospital appointment this morning in Cambridge. All OK. However I now have the chance to enjoy the sunshine skiving!

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
During the clear out of my mum's stuff, my sister found some old life insurance policies, one in my name.
All were taken out in 1968 I phoned the insurance company, and all are still valid! I don't think I'm going to be minted, as the weekly premium was 3d Heaven knows when the last payment was

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Thanks, turns out skiving doesn't have the same meaning to my missus. Spent all afternoon sanding walls and wrestling a very large bush out of the ground.
Knackered now. Last edited by shiftin_gear98; 22-06-18 at 07:23 PM. |

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Strange smile this.
I was driving the car today and tried pulling out in front of a biker at a T junction, but then realised he wasn't going to pull in to the road I was exiting, so I ended up stopped a couple of feet out of the junction. The rider gave me the finger and yelled some very unpleasant names at me. I pulled out behind him at he continued to wave at me. Then he switched his indicators off. The waving and shouting stopped abruptly. Did he then realise that he was indicating? Now who is the knobber? |
