Was looking through your pics of the Farmyard Rally on Flikr old boy, very interesting. Don't suppose you came across a slightly mad Geordie calling himself Dilligaf? Is dedicated to the removal of Jack Daniels from any pub/bar he comes across, rides a Speedmaster with a trailer, quite the character.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
The Last week or so has been very up and down. Put the downs in the gripes.
Been out on the Van Van again today, what an utter joy biking is. Third time this week since I've got strong enough to ride, 120 odd miles and now I'm all in. Also managed to move the Striple on my own today, last time I moved it 4 weeks ag (ish) I had to get the son in law to help push. Also booked in with some friends for a short 4 night trip round Scotland in September. Been given the go ahead to put non sterile liquids in my mouth and swallow what little I can. You cannot imagine the joy of good coffee after having only sterile water and mouthwash since January.

Thy SV-650 in our garage
Hallowed be your name Your ninety degree v-twin will come Your frame will be done On the highway as on the twisties Give us our daily torque Forgive us our chicken strips As we forgive those Who designed the gladius Lead us not into damaging wheelies But deliver us from highway patrol For the torque The accaleration Now and forever Amen |

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Yes. Bought a bottle this afternoon for later, but it'll take a couple of hours per glass and I'll spill / dribble half of it, as it's been a while a bottle will probably do.
