Bit of a trek round some decent roads, even the weather held up! View over Barmouth harbour: Viaducts, old and new: Memorial gardens: and the sun accented one of the mountains over the other side so one last shot before the return leg:

Bridge on the way from Surprise view.
  Honister pass  This bike pulled up just as we were leaving the Filling Station at Keswick. When he took his helmet off he had a mohican hair cut dyed the same red as the bike.

think i got back to peter at 9:30 as we missed the petrol station in pitty. i got home at bang on midnight.
everyone filled up at Carrbridge but i never 'brimmed' my tank. i done this with 1ltr left in the tank http://goo.gl/maps/TgOqX and i was ragging the titzz out the bike all day. peter done this http://goo.gl/maps/8od9v till bone dry. ok i know he is maybe 3-4 stone heavier but WTF |

dave on the fz1 kept up but only on the straight bits and when i let a certain dynamo in front i was not far off the pace. ok at bits i will admit to slowing down to let others catch up.
it was hot, sticky and sunny  think i have dialled the suspension in perfecto apart from very very bumpy stuff where it gets a tiny bit out of shape. |
