I think so. It sits on top of a rubber pad under the top plate. I'll keep an eye out for any MD 50mms.

Will take a look when it arrives. Just bought crate number five for the collection. I need to sort them by type to make it easier to find what I have. Most of my medium format is in one crate, but slr, viewfinder and tlrs are all mixed up.

It has arrived!!! I have also replaced the square. One of the wire from the hot shoe has come away again but I don't plan on using it.

Johnny, did you ever fix your Praktica?

Aaagh!! Those wires are a pain. Tiny solder points. I tried to resolder using the existing stuff rather than put more on. Anyway, I hope you enjoy using the camera. There's just something about the X700.

I think the Minoltas are a nice looking camera. I hadn't really given them much attention until you sent me the X300. All I am missing now is the X500. I paid 7.99+post for the 700.

That's a bargain for the 700.
I managed to get a 500 last year but they are pretty rare and tend to be pricy. I've now got a sudden urge to get it out and put a film through it this weekend

Do it. Long weekend coming up. Hoping to get out myself and do some shooting. You weren't joking about the X500. Most are £40+.

Bong. Nope, never finished the BX20. It fires at the mechanical speed but that's all, and the meter is a few stops down. It's worth maybe a tenner when working so you can have it if you want it, lens is good and the rest is fine. Also the Lubitel 166, not sure which version, needs a CLA but not got around to it. It's a nasty tin box if you ask me! Perkeo and Ensign are next on the list. Boiler is being fixed (knackered condensate pump) and am hopefully getting my bike working again soon, need to put the carbs back on. Also need to fiddle with my mountain bike shifters, but I think I know what to do there. Is there nothing around here that just works?

I don't think we had planned to come up that way at the moment. Sounds lile most of your Easter break will be spoken for already! The lens that came with the black X300 has a little lever that locks the aperture to the green f22. Is this auto mode?
