I wouldn't have a clue to do about that, but it sounds gash. Seek professional advice.

I know the feeling, at Rockingham wearing Si's spares! Well keep going, and we'll buy you a minimoto

Who is up for another camping trip? Preferably not a wet one this time.

Probably. Depends when, though.

Wohoooooooo, I had the 7R running last night with new chain etc fitted. Just need to sort of the sh*gged clutch slave cylinder now and she's good to go.

Er Si, where did you but your chain tool mate - it seems to be er....made of cheese. i might owe you a new one, depending on if I can un-jam the spring from inside. alternatively i can machine a new main barrel up from some decent metal which might be a better option.

Hmmm. It worked fine when I used it. I can't remember where I bought it from. Not quite sure what you have managed to bugger up on it. I'm guessing you did something not quite right. The instructions that came with it where less than useless and I had to figure it out myself. But never had any issues and everything was all straight forward without and over due stressing of parts.

I shall have a search and see if I can find it again.

yeah sorry man. Its not actually broken, just the little spring has jammed in the barrel. so I can't remove the rivet pin. If I can get something down that will remove the spring then all will be good. It worked really well, but then wouldn't come apart.
