Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
I'd be out of a job and I'm too old/lazy to change tack now! Thankfully there are plenty of mid size companies that cannot afford to move up in terms of system capabilities just yet so I can see Excel being their first choice for management reporting for some time yet.

how did we survive before the computer
to err is human but to completely fek things up requires a computer and an idiot at the keyboard. |

When you see some of the basic things that people search internet for answers it makes you wonder what happened to a good basic education as well. When you hear kids say things like 'why do I need to go to school when I know how to use Google and I can find everything on there ? '

What really gets me is reasonably intelligent youngsters who need to know something but can't be bothered to spend 10 seconds looking it up, so they kind of self impose ignorance through laziness. I really don't get it. I used to dream of a hand-held portable comms device as a kid. Would have saved the bus fares to the library.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Should do with carbs, but fuel injection cuts the flow which would be counter-productive!
When I worked in London 56 years ago used to go through Blackwall Tunnel and unleash a few from my Lambretta at lunch time. Great sport!
