The fact our country still uses MPG!!!

How long has it been since we actually bought fuel in gallons? It makes calculating the cost of a trip a complete pita.

I'm trying to not calculate my mpg. Currently still wincing every time I fill the tank remembering the 140mpg I used to get out of the 125. Ok those miles were done mostly at 20mph when going uphill but...

Smoke alarm outside our bedroom started to beep every 30 seconds to indicate a low batter. I had to get out of bed to change the battery at 03:30.

That's even more depressing punyX... That equates to £350+ worth of fuel in juat over two weeks. Maybe more as I'll have lady ballast most of the time.

Going to photograph another cricket match today and at various times rain, sleet, snow and hail stopped play. I wasn't sure if the chaps running about all in white were cricketers or polar bears.
