Re: Vintage film cameras
Been watching a Pentax K2 no. 361963597114 but not going to bid on it. A couple of days left I think, SP of a tenner and no bids so far. It's seen some use but a decent enough lens on it as well and they're pretty reliable things. If someone is after a good SLR then I'd say put a bid on it. These were the top of the line and really only bettered by the LX, which is like saying a Lambo is better than a Porsche.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Thanks for the heads up, tempted but really need to ease off now as I have five crates of cameras now!

Re: Vintage film cameras
28mm lens on that Pentax too. Will keep an eye on it. But those low starting prices can be dangerous. As a result of one, a Yashica Minister will be arriving later this week.
Managed to get out on the SV this afternoon. |

Re: Vintage film cameras
Which Minister did you get? I have a Minister D somewhere. Meter takes a PX625 battery but its only used to aid setting.

Re: Vintage film cameras
If it's any help the bodies of the K2s go for about £50 ish and the lens seems to be good for £40 or so, maybe more.
Fixed my SV too! Clean carbs and the rrrrhumbaaaa has been restored. |

Re: Vintage film cameras
All my SV needs now Johnny is a good clean. It's looking really grimy.
Kenzie, it's a Minister iii, supposed fully working and doesn't need a battery. |

Hey Yokohama, I posted off the lens today. Went first class so hopefully it will land with you tomorrow.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Brill. Thanks Kenzie. Not going into work tomorrow so I'll be in when it arrives. Maybe the Yashica Minister will turn up too.
