The latest trend/fad/horrific social activity (in the US) is a Gender Reveal party where you celebrate/announce the sex of your forthcoming child. Usually it is in the form of a balloon/pinata filled with blue or pink confetti/glitter or sometimes a small firework. This one is terrifying or hilarious, you choose:
