Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
decided to get a prostate check and the doctor said he'd prefer to get a PSA test done before the ( ) DRE. So I'm spared that for a couple of weeks.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
I recommend every male on here goes for a prostate check. My friend of 50 years went for one, only thing he had was a bit of trouble with was having to get up in the night for a wee a few times, nothing else,He discovered he had inoperable prostate cancer and has gone through all the scans etc and is waiting for an appointment at Sheffield’s Western Park hospital for his radio therapy to start sometime this month!luckilly he won’t need chemotherapy at the moment. So please see your doctor ASAP, !!!

The bad thing about the PSA test is its inaccuracy, giving false positives and negatives. One thing they didn't tell me in the US is no strenuous exercise nor sex (fat chance!) 48 hours before the test (it makes it more accurate). Eat more tomatoes (they help prostate health). Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Good advice here. My dad was found to have an elevated PSA on his first test at about 60, which lead to the dreaded diagnosis, radiotherapy, operations, medication... If it had been found earlier it would have been much less of an issue. As it can be hereditary I have been tested and all seems good so far but it will be a retest every two or three years from now on.
Don't be proud, stubborn, pathetic or scared gentlemen - GET YOURSELVES CHECKED. You do not have to wait until you are a certain age and it can even be an advantage to be seen a little earlier, before the very common symptoms of an age-related enlarged prostate begin to muddy the waters. prostatecanceruk.org/

pizzing a lot can be a sign of diabetes, if eating sugar/sweets makes you feel tired this can be another sign of diabetes. put the two together and you have more than likely got diabetes.
but yes get your prostrate checked.. |

Really windy here - so much so that our slightly dilapidated sign outside work broke in two and quite a large bit came away and hit the bosses car.

Frequent pizzing is a classic sign of diabetes as body tries to dump sugar. Having trouble passing urine or low flow can be a bad sign as enlargement of prostate for any reason can squeeze urethra and restrict flow.
