After my bike started first try after eight months, I thought I'd go for a ride. Then I picked up my stored helmet....

Went to pop down the shop today and found that the bike wouldn't steer. It was OK yesterday. Checked the tyre pressure and it didn't register on the gauge so I used a compressor to re-inflate. When I switched it off, I could hear a hiss which led me to a quarter inch cut in the tyre. Bummer!

Cheap, crappy, cheesy bolts! I thought suzuki were bad but omg the pish that comes from Aprilia is pathetic. One pinch bolt just snapped clean off, then when I went to undo the other one, so I can take off the wheel to re-tap the thread, the mature chedder hex head turns to mush!

So I dremel'd a slot in to it, got my biggest flat bit, but the metal just melts under any kind of pressure

This isn't me just being ham fisted, it's like they're made of metal coloured wax. I'm gonna need a new fork at this rate

Would they really have much to say about a snapped bolt?

I always wondered - does the name mean:

preachers from Manic Street

street preachers who are manic

preachers from a street that is manic

I have no idea! But I was asleep on the sofa by 8.45 last night so I think I made the right decision.
