Sunny and warm, thanks Gary. Changed the bike's oil & filter and got some riding in, did a bit of house sorting ready for the insurance assessor next week.

Sat out on the patio with a glass of chilled Sancerre - nice way to say goodbye to the working week, especially as it is a lot warmer this evening than of late.
BBQ with some old friends from our days in the Suzuki OC tomorrow so that will be nice to catch up and gossip, assuming the threatened thunder storms don't roll in.

Need the rain! Otherwise I will have to switch on the hose to water the garden and fill the water butts. Not good for my water boards bill!

I've emptied two of my four water butt's already. Will be keeping the remainder for topping up the pond as the veg plants don't mind if their liquid nourishment comes from the tap. I know we need a good rain but perhaps it could please wait until Monday when I'm at work?
