that might not be a bad idea, someone taking spare petrol,

although if everyone fills up when we stop, we'll be fine, i never understood people that dont fill up at a stop, and try to risk making the next stop

I'd be happy to volunteer, between paniers and top box on the K1200 LT I recon I could carry 6 Jerry cans minimum, more if I strap some to the luggage rack, will experiment when i get home =p

I'll probably be hanging round with the Tail end Charlie anyway

No worries there me and money don't get along too well so it never sticks around long

Hmm, I'm tempted to kit myself up to play support biker
With 35liters per Pannier, and 50 in the Top box, plus the back seat and Luggage rack I can pack:

Fuel
Puncture repair kit (50 tyres worth)
Foot pump
Jump starter kit
First aid
Flood Light
And an awsome Orange rotating light that would sit on the luggage rack XD!
