No. I don't bother with film cameras. Not enough creative control.

Not on the point and shoot but certainly with the slr models.

I last used the eos10 10 years ago and had the negs scanned to DVD which was a half way house until i got my first digital camera.

I may well do. The advert is tempting as i would like an Eos 650 for sentimental reasons.

Kenzie the Perkeo is in tomorrow's post, along with the flash and the film that was in my Ensign, wrapped in tinfoil. The missing spring doesn't exactly keep the lens door open by itself - the top silver arm slides a bit at that point, and when it slides fully towards the hinge (to the right as you're looking through the VF), that is what locks the lens door fully open. You can simulate this by squeezing the lever and door and it'll poop into place. It will stay there for a bit, as long as you're finished fiddling with the shutter/lens. I've collimated it at 5ft in this fully-open position. Cable release was working fine once the loose screws form yesterday had been seen to, and it doesn't trip the double exposure lock.
